The Pangolin Leader is named after the tough, protective shell of the pangolin, shielding it from large predators. In the same spirit, our Pangolin Leader features an abrasion-resistant outer sheath reinforced with Kevlar, while its soft inner core is composed of numerous thin Dyneema strings laid side by side. This unique construction makes the leader exceptionally abrasion resistant.
Not only is the Pangolin Leader durable, but it is also highly spliceable. You can easily remove the soft inner core and splice it to form loops or even create knotless connections with lines such as Silk Ray or Hollow Kevlar—ensuring a seamless integration into your rig.
Available in two camouflage color options, Multi Silt (two shades of brown) and Multi Weed (two shades of green), the Pangolin Leader blends perfectly with various bottom conditions while delivering unparalleled performance.
